Get The Complete Look of a DIVA

Go on a shopping spree at designer stores only :)

Dressing to perfection begins, first of all, with preparation of the body followed by the right foundation. The virtues of cleanliness citing that a beautiful dress and perfume on a dirty body is like putting icing on gingerbread. No matter how sweet the topping, the taste of the ginger would cut through.  The same is true for inner attitudes--funky dispositions, bitterness, or vanity--I don't care how fabulous the dress, it can't possibly cover all of that.

Dressing must begin beneath the surface. Whatever is going on inside you is sure to shine through and overcome your accessories if not dealt with.

Divas set fashion trends, they don't follow them. Classic, Simple, Elegant and Complementary are the key buzzwords when referring to how a diva dresses. Always in good taste, never outshining the person person who is wearing the garment. Divas dress in a way that causes others to look twice, though nothing they are wearing is screaming for attention.  It's the colour, the fabric, the fit that accents a woman's best features and appropriate minimize anything that should not warrant extra consideration. Its simply a matter of taste and some discerning choices about fabric and cut. Paying strict attention to the fact that less is more.

Pay attention to fabric content. Pure fabrics last longer than blends.  When you consider how many times you have to buy the same inexpensive white blouse over and over again, you could have bought a slightly pricier blouse that would have lasted a lot longer.  The same goes for that basic black dress, skirts, blazers.  Choose a colour palette that easily coordinates.

You should be able to interchange all of your pieces with one another unless you are not on a limited budget and have an expensive wardrobe. Classic cuts lend themselves and they always look good. Well fitting garment always look better.

Being an educated shopper can make the difference between a mediocre wardrobe and a fine one. Be willing to take time to bargain, you would be surprised at the savings you will reap. Compare prises for similar pieces to make sure you are getting a good deal before making a purchase.

Choose your accessories carefully--they should never overpower your outfit.  Accessories were created to complement your outfit, not distract from it. When dressing to impress, true divas keep it simple and real. Invest in your image, what you wear says a lot about you.

Makeup should be an enhancer, not a mask.  One should be a classic, natural look and one should be slightly more dramatic.  Take care in matching skin tones and find one that looks natural. Select shades of eye shadow, blush, and lipstick that are soft and match with your skin tones.  Avoid harsh lines around the lips, eyes and brows.  Take the time to blend your colour so that there is no obvious beginning ot end to them. Brows should have a natural arch--always wax or pluck from underneath, not on top! Careful trimming may be required to even the shape on top but follow the lead of what is naturally there.

Your hair should work for you, not against you.  It should be a flattering frame for your face and should not distract from it. Find a hairdresser you like and stick with that person. Experimenting with different hairstylist can be dangerous. Find one who will learn your head, understand what your hair needs, and nurture it to its fullest potential.

Discipline....

discipline is the difference between goals and achievements

Discipline is a necessary measure for order in the universe.  Even nature operates by discipline. Things blossom according to their season. No bush or tree just decides to blossom when it feels like it-it has to wait for the fullness of its circle to be completed.  Rich fruit is produced when it comes forth at the right time; otherwise it is not good for the consumption.  It is useless

20 Quotes For Challenging Times

Discipline comes from having understanding. Understanding of GOD's will and HIS way, as well as a profound insight into consequences that foolish actions brings. People cast off restraint when they have no understanding.  These same people are known to wonder aloud why their like is filled with turmoil in the aftermath of their foolish behavior. Discipline and order are internal guidlines that make sure good fruit is produced in our lives.  When good fruit is produced, it blesses not just the one who has grown it, but everyone who partakes of it.

Use of Egg for a Healthy Hair

Is it Safe to Feed Dogs Raw Eggs?

Conditioning your hair with an egg will enhance hair growth because egg contains a lot of protein.  Egg protein helps rebuild damaged hair by filling in weakened spots along the hair strand, which temporarily strengthens the hair.

For you to extract the innumerable advantages of egg for the hair, then prepare yourself for its application on the hair strands on a regular basis.

How To Use
Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove build up from hair products and natural oils. Dry your hair with a towel but not completely.
Take one egg yolk in a bowl, add a tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of yogurt and half a teaspoon of coconut oil.
Mix these well and apply it on your hair.
Place your hair in a shower cap and let this stay for two hours.
Then wash it off with a lukewarm water. This is because eggs contains proteins which will coagulate on application of heat.  Hence hot water will make it difficult to remove it from your locks.
Apply a moisturizing condition and let it sit on your hair for a few minutes.
Wash out the conditioner
Dry your hair and style.

Keys to Finding Your Financial Path

Financial planning from Warren Buffet! #financialsense #financialplanning #warrenbuffet
Hello JFWD Readers,

As a Chartered Accountant and Business Administrator wont be doing enough justice on this blog if i don't include some basic financials, that why I made the decision to include some basic finance talk. Enjoy the post.

When we work hard for something, we feel a sense of ownership over it. Whether we're working for a wage, salary or commission, we see the results of our hard work as ours. We have a responsibility to manage it well. Have you ever thought that what's the one thing you can do today to be a better manager of your wealth?

God cares how we manage everything that He's given to us.  When it comes t honouring GOD with our money, the first step is to TITHE. Tithing is bringing the first 10percent of your income back to GOD, when we do this, we are thanking GOD for the provision. Tithing is an essential part of money management!!!
Its shows commitment and helps you fight against greed.

Being a good money manager means being cautious and aware of spending habits. A BUDGET is a tool to help us manage our money.  Budgets show us how much money is coming in and where it's going. Budgets hold us accountable so we save for the things we want.many people hear the word "budget" and cringe. But "budget" is not a bad word. Budgets are essential for great money management.

Do you know where your money goes each month? What's your biggest challenge when it comes to keeping up with your spending? Do you have a budget?

Most of the time, what we want isn't what we need. We need food, clothing and shelter. We want everything else.  So how do we find joy when we can't get what we want? Contentment is contingent on our attitudes, not our bank statements.

We all know people who are impulsive spenders.  As soon as a wage/salary/commission comes in, they're out the door to spend everything they have earned. It's easy to get struck in the same wage/salary/commission-to-wage/salary/commission life style without any thought of the future. SAVING is about planning for the future. Saving will enable you to support yourself and your family if you lose your job or have an emergency.  Every time we get income, we should TITHE first, then plan to save. When we spend each wage/salary/commission with no money set aside, we're enslaving ourselves to our circumstances.

Setting aside #5000 one time won't change your financial future.  However, setting aside a little bit of money consistently over a long period of time will build great rewards for the future.  There's no amount too small to start saving and no better time than NOW. You may not be a millionaire, lottery winner, forex trader or a stock broker, but that doesn't mean you can't start saving. Daily Diligence with what you have can lead to long-term benefit.

Big goals require focus, sacrifice and a lot of hard work.  You have to want the outcome with a passion, saying "no" to other things that are competing for your time.  Breaking big goals into daily activities will help you achieve them. We all have the ability to manage money like amateurs or like professionals.  The difference comes from practice and perseverance in making wise choices.

Do you have the heart of A GIVER? Having more money is not the answer to a happy life.  It may seem that money can solve it all and if you just had a better job or a bigger wallet, you'd have a better life.  However, joy is not found in the size of our bank accounts, but the size of our heart. Have you ever been so excited about finding the perfect present that you couldn't wait to give it? Maybe it was the engagement ring that felt like it was burning a hole in your pocket.  Maybe it was the toy you couldn't wait for your child to discover under the tree on Christmas Morning. Whatever the perfect gift was, you got excited because you loved the recipient and you knew the gift would make him or her happy

The Summary to finding you financial path includes TITHING which is for GOD; Set a BUDGET for your inflows and how you intend spending them: SAVE out of you income...nothing is too small; GIVE to your loved ones and the needy around you....

Brig Gen Adekunle was a hero of the civil war.  His contributions made the war to end in time.  It was because his command opened the axis towards the coast that the war ended at the time it did.  He coordinated the Armed Forces very well. May his soul rest in peace. Amen
