London Fashion Week Latest

WITH big guns BurberryTom Fordand Christopher Kane coming to the fore yesterday, the last day of London Fashion Week has arrived - and with it some of the most exciting emerging names on the schedule. Simone Rocha - the winner of the Emerging Talent Womenswear category at the 2013 British Fashion Awards - is one of the first to start the schedule today. Known for her strong contemporary approach to romance, Rocha has become a fashion favourite since making her London Fashion Week in September 2010 as part of Lulu Kennedy's Fashion East initiative.
Kennedy's latest future stars - Helen Lawrence, Louise Alsop and Ashley Williams - will show later on this afternoon. Williams's playful pop prints have already attracted a firm following - with high-profile fans including Pixie Geldof and Harry Styles.
We look forward to seeing whether or not Osman continues the development of his signature minimalism; recent seasons have seen him add more detail to his typically unfussy designs, although it remains to be seen if this is now a permanent fixture to his aesthetic. Talking of sleek simplicity, Barbara Casarola is next up - who we hope will deliver more of her modern elegance.
Meadham Kirchhoff will close London Fashion Week - always a testament to the whimsical and unabandoned creativity that London has founded its name upon.
